To raise money for Loros and the club (hall hire alone is £40 a month/£480 a year) we are walking, cycling, and running 2581.70 miles!!! That’s Leicester Clock Tower to the North Pole! We are also looking for other ways to fundraise so everyone can take part so send in ideas info@starbaseleicester.co.uk
The team will be encouraged to do extra miles and change their usual commutes to a walk etc and get fit while helping a charity AND helping the planet! And just think… we’re the cliché group for spending the summer inside. What a challenge!? Let’s prove geeks and gamers are amazing too!

For over 18 years we’ve provided a safe space for geeks to come and be themselves and meet new friends, entirely on donations, every penny helps us keep going!

Dates: 1st June to the 31st August (92 days)
Who for: supporters can choose between donating to our Loros page or to our club funds via Paypal (see below)
Team members: 15 members would mean 172.11 miles each in 3 months
Joining the team:
Download the Strava app and add the captain (Sam Eld) as a friend here https://strava.app.link/plwUaDLNXJb and she will add you to the club challenge, then simply start logging the miles from the 1st June. Complete miles in your own time, join one of our club walks or suggest your own group walks/rides etc
