    LARP (Live Action Role Play)
    This is a brand new event for StarBase as requested by members and brought to you by members of the Leicester LARPers group.
    There will be a general introduction to LARP (Live Action Role Play), how it works, combat, costumes etc and  a chance to ask questions and maybe even find a new hobby!
    It may not be everyone’s thing so will also have an area for general socials, a game or doodle board

    “We will introduce a little of the history, mechanics and options in live action role playing in the UK. We will bring some costumes, weapons and props to play with and possibly play a little game to show how some games work.” Leicester LARPer Charlotte
    Important bits:

    • Over 16’s only (16 and 17 year olds to bring an adult the first time)
    • Free, donations welcome to help pay for the venue
    • Games/equipment etc brought at own risk… but we’ve never had brakages in 13 years!
