Welcome to Starbase Leicester

StarBase Leicester is the Leicester a Science Fiction and Fantasy group and is a great place to make new friends and to enjoy the things
you love, amongst like-minded individuals. This group accepts anyone,
no matter their background, as long as they are 16+ and prepared to
have a little fun.
We meet at least once a month, for a variety of events, both for our
members and by our members. So if there's ever anything you think that
we should try, then we'll try to fit it into our amazing schedule.
Regular events include Themed Nights, Megazone, Bowling, Roleplaying
Games, Muchkin, Cinema trips, Console nights and many more ideas. We
also encourage our members to contribute ideas for events and maybe
even run one or two of their own.
We ask for a £1 donation at each meeting but you're first 3 meetings are
absolutely free. This allows you to get a feel for the group, before
you make any commitment. All monies collected are used to pay for
prizes, hire venues, equipment and basically not be used to line our
own pockets. We're not out to make any money from this group just have
some fun and meet new people :D .
